I saw a thread on this before. I believe the culprit was an over sensitive driver's side door switch. The idea being, that when you turn, you put pressure on the door, and the switch triggers the lights. This was occuring even though all the doors were closed tightly. You may also want to check the rear hatch alignment. There have been many discussions on the hatch not closing right. This would also cause the lights to go on....especially uphill. Good luck.
