I decided that I am going to go camping for my birthday and you are all invited
June11-13 Meadows of Dan Va
Meadows of Dan campground. http://www.meadowsofdancampground.com/
They have cabins and a motel is across the street. Also B&B near by.
We stayed here for the first spring fling.
There will be a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway
Winery tours
arts and craft in Floyd Va
Along with food drink and fellowship.

called the campground to tell them we are coming they are excepting us
thought we might drive down the parkway and stop at Chateau Morrisette for wine tasting this is a dog friendly venue
They are willing to set up tasting on the veranda if we have enough that way the dogs do not have to enter the shop

my wife is getten 6 weeks off,but she has plans for camping st.augustine . but my parents should be in ther chalet in the smokies by then. so we have a half way point. but that makes a lot of driven.& we need to finish up this house also. if we see you happy birdday ,if we dont see you happy birdday!!!!! & dont be chicken.:razz:

We went here last year and had a blast! It's really nice! You get a free tour and wine tasting after. They have food and music outside. Their restaurant is good but a little expensive IMO. The day we went they showed an outdoor movie after dusk.
