I keep waiting for an ad for a dancing hula doll for the dash. I had to get mine from Big Lots.

A clear "Pope mobile" style plexi bubble to stick up in place of the sunroof glass.

A tested and approved LED bulb set. (gift set?)

A complete packaged set of those "light up when they blow out" fuses. (Are those things ever handy!"

Heated replacement mirror glass.

iPod interfaces are great, but I have one question. Where are people mounting their iPod?

I had one of these on my last car (a VW Jetta), and I mounted an iPod dock to my dash. But since this interface will display text to the stereo, it might be better to run the cable someplace that hides the iPod a little better but still has easy access.

I have an SC, so my iPod will sit in the center console. If you haven't done the
SC console upgrade mod, you can put your iPod in the glove box. Just a
suggestion. :D

am I reading this right?

So I have an EX and I am an XM subscriber. If I use this, does this mean I will lose my first set of XM presets? Is that right?

Yes it does. This is from the owners manual:

c) PA15-HON2's on board software translates commands from your CD changer control
or XM Band control into commands that the iPod understands.
i) You can either use the XM control or CD changer control of radio to work with iPod
and iPhone. Use XM control if text display is desired. Radio must have XM button
to use XM control.
ii) When use XM control, XM1 is for iPod and XM2 is retained for XM broadcast
reception.

Although, Im not 100% sure, but you may be able to set it up for a
3-3 Playlist Mode (without Text Display) + Direct Mode Configuration.
You would NOT get text on the factory radio, but would get some
control via the factory radio controls. This option uses AUX mode.
Dont quote me on that. Im just reading the owners manual. I will be
ordering one of these soon, maybe I can see what it will do. I am willing
to lose 6 XM presets to see the iPod text on the factory radio.

I'll keep you posted.

Edit:
**Ordered, it should be here on Wednesday!**
