Hi, I just bought a 'new to me' 2004 Element. It didn't come with a keyless entry FOB. How can I tell if it has keyless entry and all I have to do is order replacement remotes?

The 2004 EX's all came with keyless built in so all you'd need is the remotes

what about my 2007 EX - do I also have keyless build-in?

If yes, which remotes are compatible? Is any honda remote looking same as in the manual compatible? For instance, what about 1997ex se fccA269ZUA106 (currently sold on ebay for $5)?

yes you have keyless from the factory. go to ebay and search "element keyless"

most will have year ranges and fcc numbers that you can cross refference to find more/cheaper.

Keyless was a dealer installed accessory in 2003.

Thanks for the info. I don't wanna go and buy a remote if I can't even use it. I guess if I really want it I will have to buy the whole kit.
