In an email today from one of the dealers:

We can $50.00 one another to death. What price will lock you in??? Let me know.



Basically, anyone looking to buy an Element can get the price they want by constant negotiating. And emails are so much more simple than nagging phone calls. Plus, you get prices "in writing" so it is easier to have competing dealers give you the better deal. Good Luck to those of you shoppin' for the best vehicle on the market!

You're lucky to have found a dealer who uses email. For mine, using a fax to communicate has ben a bit of a revelation for them. :?

I like their offer of meeting the price you want!

One of my buying incentives was that they made the first payment by being a prior Honda owner.

I bought from the dealer who sent me e-mail with a reasonable price quote. (After meeting them and finding them to be just as amiable in person.)

I didn't even visit the dealers who didn't respond to my e-mail. If they couldn't bother, neither could I.
