As I am in my quest to find the E that I want, some questions and wouldn't mind your feedback on the subject:
1. Buying the E from a Honda dealer versus any other dealer -- obviously the big thing is if the cars are certified. To those that bought their used E's did you go thru a Honda dealer or was it just wherever you can get the best price? I'm looking at some various places and a few Es are on sale thru Chevy/Kia/Saturn dealers.
A low miles E with a good price looks nice, but isn't from a Honda dealer/therefore no certified warrantee.
What are you guys/gals opinions on where to buy from? (My wife prefers a certifed used car)

I've been reading the various ways to approach the dealers to get a price on a car that you want, lets take this E as example:
2007 SC asking 18:500
now i know the sticker on the window -- they started out at 19,900 for it. obviously the price has dropped. when i test drove the same car a while ago, the salesman told me they dont' sell a lot of elements(thanks for that tidbit sir
)
But here is my question, how low do you think i can go without insulting them(mind you, its not the only E i'm interested in)
I was thinking to do the email technique and essentially telling them 16,500 for the car, (i already have the financing set up) and giving them about $3,000 downpayment. I wouldn't mind this car b/c its close to me compared to the others; however, am I going too low? Or what would be a reasonable, but still nice and low offer?
Thanks guys/gals
