I drive an '07 Element, and I've never done anything more than your typical maintenance. Now that I have put 60K miles on it, I was wondering if I should do any kind of fuel treatment, switch to any specific oil, etc. I would greatly appreciate any knowledgeable feedback on the matter. Thanks!

Just follow the Maintenance Minder recommendations (see pages 184-185 of your owner's manual), especially the oil and filter changes. Since you have 4WD, change the Dual Pump fluid ahead of factory recommendation to avoid problems. Some owners have needed to get their valves adjusted before 100K, but this shouldn't be necessary as long as the car is running fine.

Valve Adjustment

I have mentioned on another post a very slight vibration while accelerating at slow speeds, which I usually mitigate by backing off the gas, then it goes away when I accelerate again. Could the valves be the cause of this problem?
