Is lowering an Element worth the expense? What are the benefits or disadvantages? How does it effect camping and driving on dirt roads?

What are the best lowering kits to get? How low do they lower the E?

advantages=LOOKS great on the streets.
disadvantages=handles horrible on any street/road not perfectly paved.

But I think people have used the Tein coilovers and raised it here.

Tein coilovers will give you a minimum 2" drop from stock up to a possible 3.?". If your into the tuner scene I say go for it, but if your a camping type that sees really bad roads then I dont reccomend it. Prior8t2000 is on coilovers and pulls a teardrop no probs but I dont know what kind of roads he drives on.
