We bought the rubber/vinyl mats when we purchased our Element. They were special ordered and we installed them ourselves once they were delivered.
Now, the drivers side slides around with little provocation. It has attachment holes at the rear edge, but no clips, pegs or ties came in the package.
What am I missing here? Don't want to do a Toyota with a stuck gas pedal!!

Hi,
I actually had the dealer install our Carpet mats.

What they do is screw an "L" shaped bracket to the bottom of each seat, and the bracket has a vertical "POST" where you slip the mats over the POST to keep them from sliding.

I'm sure you can buy the metal Post's from your dealer and attach them yourself.

Ours don't budge aTall!
