All right, who was it who parked next to me today at the MDC Reservoir Complex in West Hartford today?! Black, old school panels, EOC sticker in bottom right of their rear window??

I would have taken a picture but I was exhausted after running the 1/4 marathon there...and wasn't really sure where my camera was..but those two E's did look pretty sick right there!!

What a gorgeous day that was!

My fiancée and I brought our dog out for a walk.

Talk about perfect timing and a sweet spot upfront.

We got there as soon as the race was over and everyone was heading out.

Seeing all those pinned numbers brought back some old memories; I used to run there in high school. ¼ Marathon is good run. How’d you do? Did you set any PR’s?

I would of taken a picture but I had no camera and no phone. I was off the grid. I said to my fiancée, “Look! Another EOC sticker! Now there’s two EOC’s side by side. How awesome is that?” She looked at me and said, “You’re so cool, C’mon let’s go.”

It was pretty sweet.

I finished in 1:11.11 - respectable in my book because there were people who finished after I did, I was not the person carted away in the ambulance (score one for me!) and it was my longest race yet, so automatic PR!!

It is gorgeous up there, I'd never been there before but if I lived closer I would totally run there all the time - beautiful trails & great scenery. Lucky you for having that so close!!

I heard a few hundred entered that race.

...I have no clue what my 6.5 mile would be.

I got some new running shoes so hopefully that will help.

It's one of a few nice spots I like to go.
We go there mainly to file the dog's nails down.
(sure beats wrestling and the freaking out when cutting them)
