Just noticed an open port off the engine that seems to be missing a hose.

It is in the centre of the pic.

i could be wrong but i dont think that anyone can tell where you are refereing to. maybe circle it on the big picture and get a more zoomed in one once we know the area it is in and someone can probably tell you.

Zoomed in......again it's in the centre of the pic.....the horizontal tube open at the right end appears to be missing a hose.

I'm going to a dealer tomorrow to look at another 2.4L Honda engine.

I just looked at my 07 EX , ming lookes the same as yours , its not a hose fitting just a pice of the casting with threds inside, not sure why its like that.

x2, just looked at mine and it is the same as well.

Went to the dealer today. It may be a port used to service the engine in some way or it may be used by Honda in other countries to conform with emissions or other engine regulations. False alarm.....thanks
