It might be for one of two reasons:
1. That nifty MP3 player jack wont work with the other radios (I'm looking forward to hooking up my Ipod).
2. The stock amplifyer and wiring may not mesh well with a different system.
Still, I think you're doing OK if they're putting the aftermarket system in for ya.
