Drove 3 hours north to Schaumburg/Itasca area over the weekend and we spent the night there, going to Woodfield mall, IKEA, etc.. I saw ONE Element the entire time! I could not believe it. My wife and I saw Saturn Vue's everywhere, but only one E. And, there was a live remote on the radio from one of the area Honda dealers. The dealer got on the mic and starting running down reasons to come down to the dealership on Saturday. NOT ONE MENTION of the Element.

Dear Honda, if you want to sell more Elements...get in touch with me. I have some ideas. The first is to get your dealers to get enthusiastic about the car. I can't believe how poorly the dealerships I have talked to (or heard on the radio now) in Illinois are doing with marketing these things.

And to think.... I was stocked up with EOC club logo stickers all ready to pass out too!

It's funny that so many Element owners are Ikea fans as well. Our entire house has Ikea all over it. Desk, monitor stand, computer table, book cases, couches, lights, chairs, coffee tables, on and on. I would see nothing better than to have a meet at Ikea like they did up north. Too bad there isn't an Ikea in AZ. We have to go to So Cal for that.

T Mac.....I was up in Chicago for an entire week two weeks ago and only saw one E the entire time! Too bad I was working on the business and didn't get to go to Ikea....I was able to go back in Febuary (before I had the E) so I had to only bring back a few things!

My entire first apartment back in Philly was furnished at Ikea....gotta love that!

I think a lot of Element people like Ikea because they can utilize the
"SUICIDE" doors and i also remeber the first sketches of the Element also known as Model X back in the day they had a picture of people loading boxes

I sent e-mails to all the dealers here in Cincinnati about trying to get together with other Element owners and to let other buyers know. Never received an answer!

my dealer for instance wants to start a Element owners group. with all the wonderful things you see here. web forum boards etc etc etc. i say to the guy putting it together...why dont you just sponsor one of the boards already out there? his answer. well the auto group that owns us wont let us collaborate like that outside our organization.

stupid little rules that sadly dont seem to help a soul.
