There is no hole for the sensor So I think someone went the cheap route and replaced it does anyone have any ideas on how to Fix this I cant afford to buy a whole new catalytic converter is there any ideas?
There is a air-fuel sensor ahead of the catalytic converter and a lambda sensor in the center of the catalytic converter. You can have the sensor bungs welded to the exhaust but the lambda sensor goes between two separate sub-strates in the catalytic converter. If you drill in the wrong place you are screwed.
This is the kind of nonsense that happens when people try to fix their junk cheap. More often than not they create other problems.
