Well, I got my E on Friday and Today (Monday) I wasn't looking and I backed into a lowered Civic HB. I am pleased to say that the E had minimal Damage (as in none except a sratch or 2). So minimal in fact that I do not plan to get it fixed.

The bad news is that I completely crounched the grill of the Civic and even bent the hood I think. I am waiting to see if the other party wants to go through insurance or not.

My final word - BE CAREFUL - the view through the rear view mirror is not the greatest (I didn't see the car behind me) and the thing is bigger then it feels.

Well now that you have your first scratch, you don't have to worry about it anymore and can just enjoy the ride!

The little convex mirrors that you attach to your side mirrors can help a great deak with blind spots. In a grim sort of way tho, I am glad to hear that our "E" in tough enough to survive the incident with just a scratch or two.

I am sorry to hear about your 1st accident with the E.

element-j posted on his site about putting small mirrors on your side mirrors. Little fisheyes I believe. As isketerol also said, they do help.
