If you're talking about integrating the head unit with the factory amp and speakers, you'll need to cut the factory plug, or get the metra adaptor. Look through the stickies at the top of the mobile electronics page and you should find your answer.

I would definitely have a local shop do it over best buy. I'm sure there are exceptions, but every one I've encountered at BB didn't hardly know their phillips from their flathead. Although I will also say there are definitely good and bad local shops too. Ask around and see what kind of experiences others have had with different shops.
