Latest Info

The location is Holiday TRAV-L-PARK, 1075 General Booth Blvd., Virginia Beach, VA. 23451; 800-548-0223. They are holding sites 48-58 for our group and some additional sites for Bob and Mary Beth's buddies from the Honda Element club. I have reserved sites 60-64E (10) for the Eple.

Cut off date for reserving a site is Sept 1, 2009, so don't delay. Be sure to let them know you are with Tearjerkers, so we stay together and you get the discounted rate. Please post here when you make as reservation so we have an idea of who is coming.

We get a group discount making the rate $29.78 per night.(tax included) for Water & Electric only.

Plan on a potluck Saturday night. I will provide a large grill for everyone to cook on that night.

The Neptune Festival features live music, an arts and crafts show, and the North American Sand Sculpting Championship. Info on the festival is here: http://www.neptunefestival.com/events.php

The campground is not on the beach, but it is very close, and best of all, they have a shuttle ($2.00 for an all day pass), or if you prefer to drive, the campgound has a parking lot close to the boardwalk that is free.

I promise that everyone will have a great time, if you don't, I'll buy your trolley pass. And I'll bring my 32 cup coffee maker too.
