Well my new Element(less then 500 mile) got hit by a small dust storm while driving. Now there are lots of small chips in the paint on the front of the car and a cracked windsheild. Just wondering whats the best way to fix this paint and is it worth fixing.

Thanks for any advise

As for the question of "Is it worth it to fix", I'd have to say YES. You will just shorten the life of your E's aesthetics if it's not fixed. As for what method, it depends if it's just the clear coat or all the way down to bare metal. If it's just clear coat, it can be fixed much easier by scuffing and spotting in new clear then buffing. If it's bare metal, it will obviously cost more to do primer, then paint, then clear.

Insurance !! If it was damaged from a storm, insurance will cover it.

The chips are more like speckles. Of course the nearest body shop is 90 minutes away. I will call my insurance company today to see where they recommend
Thanks
