My 07 E just got new Yokohama yk580s after ripping up my tires on some bad roads. Now the front left tire sounds like it's slipping badly on take off. Once it is rolling, even a little bit, it's fine. No problems at speed. It's been 3 weeks now and it's still making a growling noise unless I'm really careful with the throttle. Is this a tire problem or a front end problem? I really pushed my E to get out of a bad spot on the dirt roads. I could have damaged something, but nothing appears damaged - CV boots OK. Any ideas?

Got it - it's motor mounts

I figured it out. I had a couple of broken motor mounts. They allowed the engine vibration to connect with the body and got my Element growling.
