thanks for all the help guys in regards to the back hatch issue!

not had the chance to be on here..been busy getting the website set up and getting my sleeping platform installed this week and driving... over 6000 miles in the first month... yikes and I have not even started the official road trip! :)

The platform its going to have 3 panels ( one at the front will be split)with removable legs. When all panels are unfolded it will cover the entire inside car with the seats down or also just over the passenger seat if I travel alone. It can either fold to sit as a platform behind the front seats all the way to the back or fold up to be a small platform behind the back seats if they are installed. Also have 3 cut pieces of 4 inch memory foam with velcro to keep the dogs cozy and also to keep me cozy:p
I will post pics on the 1st of October when it is all done and when the website goes live :) My first real long slog is going to be from Oregon to Sacramento via reno and tahoe then onward to death valley to photo the Amargosa Oprea house... then back to PDX to fly out to Ethiopia and then back to get back on the road.

Met my element twin this weekend out at Newbury Caldera near bend oregon.... empty parking lot by the lake with 3 elements parked :) MIne is the really dirty one.. I dont know how they got theirs so clean!

(only my twin in the pic.)

also have a few more pics from the road added

what a difference an inch makes! :)

Got my new shaved down head-restraints! Its amazing that just one inch can make such a huge difference! no more pain while driving and the restraints are still close enough to my head so that if I get rear-ended I still have support and wont get whiplash ( even though the uncomfrtable jutting only reduces your chance of whiplash by something silly like 14% and thats only for people in the correct height ranges)

Hi! This sounds amazing. New to the forum and my 09 ex element.

i don't see any pictures. maybe they expired?

I would love to find a the forward head restraints (HR)

Thanks
