i bought some alloy wheels from a late model honda civic today to replace the steelies and hubcaps that came on my element. of course the tpms light will not go off now. is there a way to disable it or do i need to take the sensors off my steelies and install them on my new wheels? i'm sure this is probably a newb question but i searched and didn't find an answer. thanks

Or take it to a tire shop and have them put new ones on. It's not that much.
I've heard the batteries in the TPMS sensors last about 7 years, then you'll have to go to the tire shop anyways.

(BTW - the TPMS light will blink to alert of the battery being low)
