Lots of air, all cold. A/C OK.
Heater Fuse is good. Coolant levels OK. Cleaned the gears under the dash best as I can reach/see. There is movement in the cable but it seems sluggish and there's a delay, so not strictly a mechanical connection from the control knob? Or maybe there's still dirt in a gear somewhere. I put wd40 on the cable and gears. Still sluggish.:x Stumped.
I need photos to identify the parts under the hood. Still can't see the heater core and the heater gate tubing looks pretty small. Am I looking at the right parts? Hard to see as there's a black safety bar across that area, high on the firewall. I'm wondering about the gate being stuck, and if so how to fix it. Also, how much travel should the cable have? Mine is maybe an inch at the most.

Coolant level is up to the radiator cap, and the water reservoir on the side is up to max.

The engine is not overheating. I know nothing about thermostats. Guess I'll find out more soon.
