Hey there,
Fo Xmas my wife gave me roll of KRACO REPLACEMENT CARPET LINER.

It's 3' x 6' and claims you can use with or without adhesive..... a good thing

Question: Is there an adhesive or double stick tape that will hold the liner and yet not become an ugly gluey mess ?

All help appreceiated and happy holidays.

I'm not aware of a 2-sided tape that doesn't break down or get hard and difficult to remove after time passes.

I suggest you try those beaded foam non-slip carpet pads you can get at Home Depot or Lowe's. They are slightly tacky, can be cut to size, comes up easily, and does a really great job at keeping area rugs in place.

It does kinda look like that shelf liner, but that stuff is non-stick. You'll find what I'm talking about in the flooring area. I think it would work well because it will have a slight tackiness, but can be peeled up and repositioned. I prefer that to 2-sided carpet tape.
