Our SC only has about 18,500 miles on it - yet occasionally, I'll go to turn the key to start the car and nothing happens. No noise like a dead battery - just nothing. I quickly release - wait a second or two and turn the key again and the car starts right up.

Is anyone else having this happen to them or know what may be causing it?

Thx!

I have not experienced that on my 07 SC. Have you brought it to the dealer to complain about this oddity?

Ignition '07 SC

I'll have an oil change in about 2,500 miles so I'll bring it up to the dealer then - just wondering if anyone had heard of it before I took it in.

Make sure your putting the same side of the key up all the time. If you find one side (Edge) fails try the other side for some time. I know of a CRV that did that! It would work every time with one side of the key. The other side would pull that NOTHING DOING thing every so often. Wow did I hate that car.
