i recently took a trip from dallas to san diego , on the way back we camped in the coranado national forest , our campsite was at 4000 ft. we drove up to mt lemmon which is at 9000 ft on one of the most primitive of roads i've ever seen. it was more like a donkey path, and we had no problem climbing the steep grades(the path was just dirt and loose gravel and rocks)

I have taken some steep roads in touring around Toronto and at the Southern Ontario E-vent. I am amazed at how well the "E" handles, especially with a 5-spd manual tranny.
