[quote:775de9c33b="frenchtoast"]We just pick up oue SOP EX AWD .My husband is concerned about how you can see right behind engine to wheel wells.here in Michigan there is a lot of salt put down and we're concerned about next winter. Anyone have any wisdom on this?[/quote:775de9c33b]
I understand that concern. Here in Panama city Fl we have sand... lots and lots of sand.
sure the roads are paved, but the sand has a way to drift and collect everywhere.
I can't get in my car without tracking it in.
There is'nt a day that goes by that I don[t think about it. It collects inside the engine compartment and I have found it inside the airfilter "element" housing whew hew!
Hmmm... an  would be to purchase some type of rubber, get about 1 square foot for ea. side and cut them to the shape of the opening. I believe there are a few factory holes under ea. side to fasten the rubber with "honda Clips like the ones on the hood.
 in the meantime... enjoy life beyond the walls.
