WRX-awesome car, have driven many including a 09', very comfy for a 6ft driver, rode and handled great, nice power, just drove it in the snow, un-stoppable!

RX8-horrible gas mileage, no power down low, you have to be above 5k rpm's to get the car to move, my real good friend has been trying to sell his for 2 years, no one wants them around here. It handles good, thats about it. Oh, and his has a exhaust, sounds good. Interior is nice, seats are very comfy.

Challanger-I thought they were only automatic trans. I have driven both the R/T and SRT8, the r/t was a dog, handled poorly, I crushed it with my wifes impala ss. Now the SRT8, its a fun car, auto trans though, little too heavy, feels like it too in the steering, has numb spots. Great power up top, but at 4200+lbs, the torque it has is used up quick. The guy paid $44k for his, not worth it at all. Interior was ugly and plain, horrible materials.

Now for my pick, a new 6spd Camaro, V6 or V8, I have driven both. The V6 has great power, the v6 is more ballanced and handles better than the SS V8. The SS is just awesome, the power never quit, hit 160 and it wanted more, just sick. After I put the corsa exhaust and lmr intake and had it tuned at RDP, the SS was simply the smoothest powered stock internal motored car I have ever driven.

Good luck on the choices.

I like all 3 cars.

the wrx is great. but some complain about cheap interior. feels ok to me.

the rx8 is not a real 4 seater. no low end, and bad mpg, but i will be getting the rx7 when it comes out in 2012. the feel when you red line it till the buzzer come on is just just....drool...machine gun>9mm>9mm>machine gun yummy.

I like the Challenger srt 8 seats, really nice comfy and supportive. I find the interior to be ok. just need some protectant shine and it would look fine. don't like the drag race inspire shifter though.

One word: Mustang. The original, and still the best. I know that Ford revealed some new powertrain options at the LA Auto Show too, so I know it'll have a bit of kick, and I know you can get it in a manual.

The WRX is, erm WAS a cool car. Now it's an ugly car. If you can find a used WRX pre-2008, you're in business. My roommate's '02 is a brilliant car and a hoot to drive.

Having not driven any of the other things you mentioned, I can't really comment one side or the other on them, aside from appearance.

I agree with Dom, the Jeep GC SRT8 is an INSANE piece of automotive hardware. The fit and finish inside and out is tight and tasteful and that engine is complete balls-out awesome. It's not really in the same pricing ballpark as the cars you mentioned but it will absolutely blow you away.

For those on a super-stock SUV budget, Jeep made a Magnum edition of the GC in 1998 with a 5.9L V8 that is still highly sought after. I drove one a while back (I'm a recovering Jeep addict) and it was pretty impressive for what is now 12 year old automotive technology.
