I don't know if this has made it to the board yet, but here goes. It appears that several dealerships in CA are painting the panels on the E.

I like the blue one. What's really neat to me is the powered rear sunroof and the sun/moon roof over the front seats. Did they say three grand?

I absolutely love the painted panels! They almost look like metal (not plastic). Any idea if those are just stock plastic panels or custom metal? I like the odd look now--because there is nothing else like it on the road. But, I don't think the look will age as well as the single color. Overall I think it's sweet!
