Has anyone purchased and installed the meter panel, center panel and switch panel covers in their E. I see that they are installed over the existing panels and I was wondering how well they held up.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

The after-market trim kits seem to do more for less money. I have seen some posts that say that people are generally satisfied with them, but I have not seen anyone posting that they have used the Honda kits.

The aftermarket trim that I have seen does not include the circular pieces. I got the aftermarket trim in real carbon fiber and installed everything but the top piece for the overhead bin. It looked a little overdone ("pimped out") -- but after I added the Honda Meter covers for the round A/C and center meters it really balanced out the whole effect and it looks very good together.

They were fairly simple to install and seem solid enough. I don't forsee any problems with them.

In retrospect, I might have preferred to use only the Honda kits for a simpler look. On the other hand, it looks pretty darn good the way it is now.

I purchased all the Honda factory interior trim pieces and installed them myself. They adhere with double-sided taped and so far seem quite secure. It really does add a finishing touch to the interior, especially the pieces for the door. Everyone that saw them at the recent Huntington Beach get-together thought they looked great.

Although they may seem pricey, I thought it was worth it. If the $$$ is an issue, check out eBay and take at look at the aluminum interior trim kit that someone is offering there. It's only $150 and has like 20-something (!) pieces to the kit.
