Just a warning:
I am trying to get my credit card refunded from the mis-deal some of us had with Mad Ram Truck Accessories (Cloud Rider grill cover)
It seems PayPal whats you to jump thru hoops to get your money back
I feel this is very un ethical since they took payment by credit card extremely easily but when it is time t return the funds (aka credit the amount back to your card) it seems impossible
I'm pissed beyond belief

I for one will never - ever ever use PAY PAL services again
I will tell everyone I know via the web

Planned to - but it just seems a real pain in the ass when they should credit the account. haven't had this problem before - just thought others should be made aware of PAY PAL practices

Truth: Paypal is really really convenient for online purchasing.

It's equally true that dealing with them is a complete nightmare in cases like this.

I always use my checking account funds to pay for something with Paypal, and that has worked out pretty well, except in one case, and I found them pretty unreasonable.

There are websites out there with names like "paypal sucks" and such that you can find with a Google search. They're good because they have the Secret Hidden Telephone Numbers for Paypal and you can call and snark at them.

Orangee same feelings about PayPal. First PayPal has my credit card number and now they want my checking account number to reimburse me?
Or I can simply have a credit with these rip off artists. That on top of charging me to get a refund from a bad deal? The whole lame excuse about needing to charge for the refund was because the credit card company charges a fee. Well then why do I need to give them my checking account number?? :shock: My head is spining.

I will NEVER use PayPal again!! Time to call the credit card company

Got an email from Mad Ram today - they say they are going to be sending me a check for the amount. One minute Pay Pal has my money - the next Mad Ram is sending me the refund. I will believe it after the check is here and the funds have cleared!

Again - is there a US company that carries the Cloud Rider grill cover?
