I need to find a barrier that fits in the cargo area and can't seem to get a straight answer. The one I am looking at says it fits, 2004 Element,
here is a link.

Question - does this fit around the sunroof? The dimensions seem fine, but I just can't decide if the sunroof is in the way?

or is there is a good cargo net type device with suction cup that can be attached to the windows and set up in the cargo area?

I have a 6 month old Chocolate Lab that loves to make the plunge over the seats or wedge her way around the side of the headrests to make it to the back seat. This is a problem when I leave her in the car as the factory installed horn alarm loves to sound when she makes the leap of faith.

Looking for anything to just block the top area of the cargo area.

I ordered a pet barrier(not this one) to put behind the back seat, too. Then, before I evan got it, I realized it wouldn't work because of the sunroof. The one I got would have been mounted between the floor and the sunroof. So, I put the pet barrier behind the fron seats. Didn't work-my basset hound just crawled underneath, or jumped over it. I ended up getting a Petbuckle travel kit(from PetSmart, I think) and that's kept him in the back seat. Cost $40.00. I also got a smaller pet barrier(http://www.discountramps.com/suv-pet-barrier.htm) that fits between the front bucket seats. He can still jump over the front passenger seat if he wasn't buckled in!
