thanks!! the tires barely fit...i had to beat the rear wheel wells with a sledge hammer so the tire would fit...even then i couldnt tighten the lug nuts with it in the air..so i had to let air out of tires....lower it onto the ground then tighten lug nuts and re-inflate rear tires...they are so close i cant even get a finger in there when its on the ground...so i will be looking for a small wheel spacer to use...but it does not rub when on ground..i just want a little more clearance. but i love the look and ride.... it is a lot more capable than before

Looks great!!

That looks awesome. Can you elaborate on the tire rubbing issues? is it because the 225 is too wide or too tall?

That looks great. How does it handle and where did you get the kit?

I really wish we had a 4wd E... :(

The 2005 Element only came in Ralley Red and there was no EX-P, which came out in 2006. The 2006 Red is Tango Red Pearl.

they are fine in front...lots of room...except top of tire to bottom of spring mount is less than 1/4 inch clearance but that clearance will not change since both the tire and spring perch are in fixed locations....

the rear is where the problem was....the area where strut mount is in the body sticks out a bit too much for the side wall of the tire and contacts it only when the E is lifted completely in the air....a few calculated hits with a small sledge hammer made it better but its still really close...it has not made contact while driving....but its so tight i cant even fit my finger in there...so i will try to put a small wheel spacer in there for good measure..

The ride is very good feels like stock...but there is a bit more sway and body roll but not that bad...

That combo of lift and tires look great. keep us posted on the tire rubbing and any other problems you might encounter.

How are those tires on the street? Are they noisy?

Your current rims have a 45mm off-set, go with a set of wheels with around a 40mm off-set and you have a lot more inside clearence.

yea i know...but i dont want to spend money for rims....its just my daily...a set of small wheel spacers will do the same thing for a lot less money...and like i said its not rubbing....just not much clearance...but thanks for the suggestions...

Awesome job! Keep us posted on clearance issues, etc. :)

Those are awesome treads... to answer about the noise:, when I had them on my FJ, they weren't loud at all. Noise is also very subjective to people.
Are they louder than Wrangler H/P? You know it. lol But that's only because it's naturally a more agressive tread. Are they quieter than Interco Super Swampers, you bet. It's allllll relative.

:)

The E looks awesome! :) Going to throw on some side steps now? ;-)
