You are correct in your assumption, that for the most part a resonably priced detector will do the job in most rural towns. But the Valentine is the only way to go on the Interstates especially when dealing with the State Police who seem to have the best equipment for determining speed."LIDAR?" Much of it bought by the insurance companies and then leased to the State Patrols for a $1 per year. Tell me this isn't revenue enhancement!
