I just picked up my element yesterday, and the radio code had not yet been entered, which means we can't listen to the stereo. Worse yet, the card that has the code was blank. And there was no extra sticker "hidden" anywhere within the car we could find. Since the dealer traded with another dealer (about 2 hours away), they don't have the original info either. They say they now have to pull the head unit out to read the serial number on it. Is there an easier way to get the code?

You can call the original dealer that traded your E and they sould be able to provide you with the radio code. If they can't and you never got the code from the dealer selling you the E, I would think they would do this as a courteousy and not charge you. Otherwise, you have to pay about an hour's labor to pull the unit, get the VIN and call it in to Honda.
