I wonder if anybody found the rear mirror mounted too high compared to the side mirrors, forcing moving your chine up when looking at?

I like to double check if there is no car tail gating me before using my break, but I need to move my head, up, which is impossible in case of emergency break.

I used to have my rear mirror at the same high than my eyes and I would like to try to mount my mirror in a lower position, in a similar way that was done for roadster, see picture below:

Actually, I like it there. Many (most?) passenger cars have the mirror right in the line of view of stuff like vehicles turning left toward you. One of my first impressions driving Ol' Blue was the vast visibility. But you're right, when I admire myself in the rear view mirror I have to stretch.
