Rear Washer Fluid Nozzle Problem?

Shortly after purchasing our E last winter, I was scraping ice off the rear window & accidently knocked off the sprayer nozzle for the washer fluid. We had the nozzle replaced but no 'juice' would come out. After a couple of tries at fixing the problem (Honda. not me), we were told the rear pump wasn't working and it was replaced. Lots of liquid coming out now - two torrents of fluid cascading vertically down the window. When we first got the vehicle, I could have sworn that the rear washer fluid sprayed out in a wider pattern (like the front window fluid). Was I imagining things? :|

Thanks, everybody for the responses - must have either been my imagination (rear spray) or previous owner having a modified or defective unit. If it was just me I wouldn't give it a second thought, but my wife thinks she remembers it spraying too. Oh well, as you say, would work better now anyway.
Thanks again. :)
