I can't beleive it. Pouring, on the pouring rain, a 5 day old SOP-E an the rear wiper has gone comatose. I can hear a click of some sort every 7 seconds like the manual says, but no arm movement. The squirter works fine.
Has anybody have it happened? Is it a DIY thing? How long did they (dealer) keep it for repairs?

No problems like this on my E, but I did have a friend replace wiper blades for me on my old Taurus and ended up with a similar problem. Turned out he hadn't tightened the bolts that held the blades in. Check your wiper blade for loose screws before taking it in for service.

I have the rear air deflector on my E and have not needed to even use the wipers in the rear yet!
