Hey Folks,

I've reviewed most of the posts here regarding roof racks and I've just about come to the conclusion that I'm going to have some bases made that will match up to the factory mounts. I've got some old Yakima rails (the round ones, used w/ a gutter mount) and a few accessories that I'd like to reuse.

Anyone got any suggestions that'll prevent me from me from taking a trip to the machine shop?

Yakima and Thule both make feet for the element they are the same as the crv.
