Just removed the H on rear deck of my SOP :?: and was surprised by faded color underneath emblem. Not sure what to do other than putting the H back on the car. Anyone with similar experience ?

I would use a mild rubbing compound to blend the color. Then apply a good coat of wax and it should mostly disappear.

I had the same issue whan I removed the 'H' and 'element' badges; a little wax and polish took care of it.

It really drives people crazy when they see the E and there's no badge to give them a hint of what they're looking at.  I just like the clean simple look of it.

peace out,

Jdef, You are so right, just returned from 100 mi ride and people were hurrying to pass me to see what kind of car it was. (still have the front badge). Thanks again for your response on the Michelins, really looking for something quiet and long lasting..andy

Glag to know that there arent two holes back there. On lots of Hondas, when you take off the rear emblem, there are wo holes where the emblem mounts. I was planning on taking htat off, now I can.

[quote:89394cfba1="Ger Brassfield"]I removed the Element badge and replaced it with "Mini Hummer". Can't quite see the reaction I get tho'.[/quote:89394cfba1]

Where did you get a "Mini Hummer" badge?
