Not sure if this is the right place to post this but i know getting replacement keys made can be very costly.
I called around several ACE hardwares which can sell you the blank key cut and programmed for a 2004 element for $40.
However for a 2005 the prices were pretty wild (180+) and apparently only the dealership can do this programming. I went to the Honda dealership on 10 S Van Ness in San Francisco, and they made me a brand new key, blank, cutting and programming in 10 mins from walking in the door till leaving for only $47 out the door which works to both start the car and doors obviously. I have a 2005 Element EX with an F stamped on the key.
This may be a great option for anyone local to the bay that need a spare set of keys like me since I bought mine used and only got one key!
