My friend just bought a 2017 Nissan Rogue. He has his own fancy-schmancy 17" rims he's going to put on it and he wants to give me his old (came with the car) ones to put on my 2003 Element. As far as I can see they should fit fine but does anyone see any reason why they would not or why they might be dangerous to use? Anything I would need to do to make them fit? The tires on the new rims are 225/65R17 and have good life left in them.

Here are the Rogue rims:

TIA folks!

You need hub centric ring spacers to adapt the larger bore of the Nissan wheels to the smaller size of the element. The center bore is what aligns the wheels on Hondas, not the lugs themselves.
