I am looking to buy a cargo/pipe frame rack to carry some occasional light lumber but will definitely want to carry two Kayak's at some later point in time.

I do like the appearance of a low tubular type rack, I think it enhances the look of the vehicle.

Could someone please give me some recommendations ?

Yes, buy a rack; it's simpler than building one. (And do a forum search, the topic has been over-discussed) .

Roof Racks

Yes, there are plenty of discussions on the subject and it seems that the main racks are Thule, Yakima or a TPS Lizard Rack. I was hoping to learn more about these three and see if anyone had any experience with rusting or finish issues later on in time.

Perhaps there is no more information to be had!
