According to Handa Accessories website, the shipping weight is 47 pounds so that will give you good estimate. I crawled under an E at the dealership today to see how they were mounted. The steps are low and I don't think they will be getting hit by other cars.
One recommendation: try getting out of an E that has with them. I find myself hitting the back of my ankle on them because I always reaching for the ground and not the step. They look good, but I'm going to pass on them myself.
