Does anyone know if there should be any maintenance to the skylight rubber besides keeping it clean? I mean to prevent it from drying out or cracking? I had a sunroof in a car way back inthe day and the dealer told me to put vaseline on it but it got all over my paint job and the window.

Any suggestions?

This will help protect it good enough from the harsh sun? Just spary a coat on and rub it over or what?
