Does anyone have experience connecting a home-use snowplow to the E? I have a 2008 and am looking into it. So far, I've found this 'HomePlow Basic' from AutoAnything - http://www.autoanything.com/winter-driving/homeplow-basic-snow-plow

It says that I will need a Class III 2” front receiver hitch - I've never used a trailer hitch on my E before, so I'm wondering if any of these (https://www.etrailer.com/hitch-2008_Honda_Element.htm?style=&furl=-pt-Class_III) would work as front hitch receivers?

Anyone have any thoughts about whether that combination would work? Any other snow plowing experiences with the E? Thanks!

Welcome, Johngioia.

I don't recall anyone installing a front hitch on an Element. That Draw-Tite hitch you linked to is for the front?

Also, there was no DX trim in MY 2008. See the 2003-2008 Element VIN Decoder (stickeyed in Ask the Dealer).

And please add your location (Standish, Maine, yes?) to your profile.

Class III 2" front hitch - anyone ever put one on?

Just wondering if anyone has experience installing a front hitch (class 3, 2 inch) on the E? I have a 2008 and want to install one in order to attach a home-use snow plow. Any thoughts on the hitch, or the snow plow are much appreciated. Thanks!
