I installed a pair Kappa Perfect 6.1 in the rear powered by a Rockford Fosgate 801X amplifier (100 Watts rms x 4). One speaker works fine but the second distorts when I turn the volume up and I notice bubbles on the cone material. I have the punch bass on 1/2 and the gain on 1/2 right now. Any suggestions. My head unit has a EQ, should I turn the punch bass off when using EQ?
