Battery died last week in my '05 Element. Got the s/n and the radio code. After i punched in the code, my display unlocked....like the radio was back to normal. However, I turn the volume knob and nothing. As if my speakers
are muted........help???

Check the fuse for the amp, I *THINK* it's #7 in the under dash fuse box.

Correct. The radio itself is fuse #8 (plus it shares fuse #9 in the under-hood fuse box).
