one night last week, i tried to help a guy with a van, just give it a boost. so i sidled up my car beside it, and connected the cables. the guy probably mixed up his cable and got his battery bursting!!!
i just realized now when i cleaned up the car that i got some splatters from it and now have varying splotches, others ruining the paint while others are a shallow.

any 'first-aid'/remedial solution to this situation?

Wash it and then go at it with a mild polishing compound. You can always wet sand it with some 2000 grit wet/dry sandpaper and then buff it out.

That sucks man. You will probably have to rub it out with a compound. Hopefully you don't have to go too deep. Good luck. I'd be
