Spot got adopted!

After spending about 5 months with us, Spot went on a transport to NJ Tuesday, and he's already adopted!

It was hard on us - after all the health issues and after 5 months, we really got attached. He would have been a definite keeper if we hadn't already drawn the line at 4.

Sunday, the adoptive parents of Elsie (now Izzie) brought her over to play with him one last time - Spot's on the left:

We even let them violate a Benson household rule: NO PETS ON THE FURNITURE - EVER!
