Okay, I'm curious... for those of you who have been inside the Element already, it looks like it would be hard to manipulate the stereo with the shifter right in front of it like that. Am I right?

The stereo is way up high on the dash, above the heater controls and well out of the way of the shifter.

Great news...thanks! Now if I could just get our local dealer to get one in so I can actually go :shock: look :shock: at one up close. Only a matter of time...

Did you check out the offical honda site, they have awesome 360 degree views you can really get a good idea (though not as good as in person) what the dash and controls are link.

And yeah there is not problem with the shifter, heating/cooling, or sound system.. You don't even have to glance down like most vehicles.. the planning is awesome!
